About reCAPTCHA

As you have seen on the sidebar, I like reCAPTCHA. It may not be easy to say, but I like it.

In essence, reCAPTCHA is the little box that you have to type the words into in order to submit a form and prove you are not an evil robot. What's cool is that they help digitize old books.
They take a word from an old text that the computer is sure about and then take another word from a different text the the computer can't understand and place them in the image. If you get the first one (the one the computer is sure about) right, it assumes the second one (the one the computer can't tell) is right too, and what you type is what goes in the digital version of the text. Pretty cool, huh?
